At River Heights Physiotherapy we care tremendously about the health and safety of all of our patients. We are continually updating our policies as things change, and are following the mandates of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba. The following are some of the measures that are in place currently:
All staff and therapists are wearing medical grade masks, practicing proper hand hygene, and will not be at work if they are feeling unwell in any way.
Patients are asked to please wear a mask in the clinic, and clean their hands upon entry, and to reschedule or switch to a virtual appointment if they are feeling unwell in any way.
We are social distancing as much as possible. Treatment rooms are private. We are asking patients to enter the clinic right at their appointment time. Patients are brought directly into the treatment room as opposed to sitting in the waiting area.
All treatment room surfaces, equipment, and door handles are cleaned with a Health Canada approved disinfectant between each patient.
Other commonly touched surfaces are cleaned multiple times throughout the day.
If you are attending for jaw treatment and prefer no intra-oral treatment with a gloved hand please let us know. There are multiple alternative treatment options.
We are committed to working together to keep our community safe. Should you feel more comfortable you can also access physio from the comfort of your own home with a Virtual Physio appointment. For more info please click here.
If you have any further questions about the safety measures we are taking please feel free to send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office at 204-987-9222.
